Samalut (arabisch سمالوط, DMG Samālūṭ) ist eine Stadt im Zentrum Ägyptens im Gouvernment al-Minya mit ca. 127.000 Einwohnern. Sie liegt am Westufer des Nils, einige Zugstunden südlich von Kairo.
