Titelverteidiger Mike Hallett verlor sein Auftaktmatch gegen Neal Foulds. Der Engländer machte danach den Weg bis ins Finale, wo er seinen Landsmann Gary Wilkinson mit 10:8 besiegte. Für Foulds war es der fünfte und letzte Profititel seiner Karriere.
