Scunthorpe
Scunthorpe ist eine Stadt in der englischen Grafschaft Lincolnshire. Sie ist seit 1996 Verwaltungssitz der Unitary Authority North Lincolnshire. Zuvor war sie seit 1974 Teil der nicht mehr existierenden Grafschaft Humberside. Die Industriestadt ist das größte Zentrum der Stahlproduktion im Vereinigten Königreich und wird daher auch Industrial Garden Town genannt. Nach Grimsby und Lincoln ist sie mit 82.334 Einwohnern (Stand: 2016) die drittgrößte Stadt Lincolnshires.
