Die Troll A ist die größte Gasförderplattform und gleichzeitig die größte Bohrinsel der Welt. Sie dient der Förderung von Erdgas aus dem Troll-Gasfeld in der norwegischen ausschließlichen Wirtschaftszone der Nordsee.
