Shannon (irisch Sionainn) ist eine Ortschaft in Irland. Sie ist die einzige nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg angelegte Stadt Irlands. 1982 erhielt sie den „town status“. Shannon hat 10.256 Einwohner (Stand 2022).
