Boelen-Python
Der Boelen-Python (Simalia boeleni, Syn.: Morelia boeleni), auch Boelens Python, zählt zur Familie der Pythons (Pythonidae) und wird dort in die Gattung Simalia gestellt. Er ist auf Neuguinea endemisch und bewohnt hier die Hochlandregenwälder. Über die Biologie dieser Schlange ist praktisch noch nichts bekannt.
