Smallanthus
Die Smallanthus sind eine Pflanzengattung in der Unterfamilie der Asteroideae innerhalb der Familie der Korbblütler (Asteraceae). Die etwa 23 Arten sind in der Neuen Welt verbreitet. Wenige von ihnen, beispielsweise Yacón (Smallanthus sonchifolius), werden als Heil- oder Nutzpflanzen verwendet.
