Das Sofa (auch Couch, Kanapee oder Diwan) ist ein mehrsitziges, gepolstertes Sitz- und Liegemöbel. Aufgrund ihres höheren Sitzkomforts wird heute die Bettcouch der eher selten gewordenen Chaiselongue vorgezogen, welche stark an das antike Triclinium oder die moderne Récamière erinnert.
