Solothurner Schultheissen

Der Schultheiss war ab Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts das Oberhaupt im Stande Solothurn. Er hatte den Vorsitz in den Räten, im Gericht und im Kriegsrat, und ihm war die Stadtwache unterstellt.
