Spiroplasmen
Spiroplasmen (Spiroplasma) (abgeleitet von den beiden altgriechischen Wörtern σπεῖρα spéïra „Spirale“ und πλάσμα plásma „Geformtes“) sind eine Gattung von kleinen Bakterien ohne Zellwand in der Klasse der Mollicutes. Alle Spiroplasmen leben parasitisch in Pflanzen, Gliederfüßern oder Nagetieren oder saprophytisch.
