Starship ist eine 1985 gegründete amerikanische Rockband. Durch die Änderung der musikalischen Stilrichtung sowie den Verlust wichtiger Mitglieder schuf sich die Band Jefferson Starship, vormals Jefferson Airplane, mit der Namensänderung eine neue Identität.
