Sandsturm

Ein Sandsturm ist ein Sturm oder starker Wind, der Sand oder Staub mit sich führt. Er kommt besonders in Wüsten vor. Von einem Sandsturm zu unterscheiden ist die Sandhose, die räumlich enger begrenzt bleibt.
