Theophan (Bischof, 1815)

Theophan Goworow (russisch Феофан Говоров / Feofan Goworow, auch Феофан Затворник / Feofan Satwornik, „Theophan der Klausner“, bürgerlicher Name Георгий Васильевич Говоров / Georgi Wassiljewitsch Goworow; * 10. Januar^jul. / 22. Januar 1815^greg. in Tschernawsk; † 6. Januar^jul. / 18. Januar 1894^greg. in Wyscha) war ein russischer Geistlicher, von 1859 bis 1863 Bischof in Tambow und von 1863 bis 1866 Bischof in Wladimir. Er wird von der Russisch-Orthodoxen Kirche als Heiliger verehrt und gilt als ein besonders ehrwürdiger Starez.
