Die Theorie II. Ordnung, auch Verformungstheorie genannt, ist in der Baustatik eine Theorie, bei der das Gleichgewicht am verformten System bestimmt wird. Somit sind die Schnittgrößen von der Belastung und von der Auslenkung abhängig.
