Thermalquelle

Eine Thermalquelle ist eine Quelle, bei der Grundwasser austritt, das in der Regel signifikant wärmer ist als das umgebende oberflächennahe Grundwasser. In Deutschland sind Grundwässer als Thermalwässer definiert, wenn ihre Temperatur am Austrittsort mehr als 20 °C beträgt.
