Thionville [] (deutsch Diedenhofen) ist eine französische Stadt mit 42.163 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Januar 2021) im Département Moselle in der Region Grand Est (bis 2015 Lothringen).
Im moselfränkischen Dialekt, der noch von den Älteren gesprochen wird und dem Luxemburgischen sehr ähnlich ist, wird die Stadt Diddenuewen genannt. Die Einwohner nennen sich Thionvillois.
