Thomas Schmidt (Politiker, März 1961)

Thomas Gottfried Schmidt (* 7. März 1961 in Burgstädt) ist ein deutscher Politiker (CDU). Er ist seit 2004 Abgeordneter des Sächsischen Landtags und seit 2019 Sächsischer Staatsminister für Regionalentwicklung. Von 2014 bis 2019 war er Sächsischer Staatsminister für Umwelt und Landwirtschaft.
