Thomas Sowell (* 30. Juni 1930 in Gastonia, North Carolina) ist ein US-amerikanischer Ökonom und Fellow der konservativen Hoover Institution. Bekannt wurde er u. a. durch seine Kritik an der Affirmative Action aus Sicht eines Schwarzen.
