Tiegel (Gefäß)

Ein Tiegel ist ein feuerfestes und chemisch resistentes Gefäß zum Erhitzen von Stoffen oder zur Herstellung von Schmelzen. Es kann z. B. aus Keramik (Porzellan, Schamotte, Tonerde, Zirconiumoxid und Graphit), Glas oder Metall bestehen.
