Die Timalien (Timaliidae) sind eine Familie in der Ordnung der Sperlingsvögel (Passeriformes), die in Asien vom nördlichen Pakistan über Indien und das festländische Südostasien bis Mittelchina im Norden, Borneo und Java im Süden und Mindanao im Osten vorkommt.
