Timotheus (Bischof)

Timotheus (altgriechisch Τιμόθεος Timótheos; * in Lystra bei Konya in der heutigen Türkei; † um 97 in Ephesus) war ein Mitarbeiter des Apostels Paulus und der erste Bischof der im Ur- und Frühchristentum sehr bedeutenden Großstadt Ephesos.
