U Thant Island
U Thant Island, offiziell Belmont Island genannt, ist eine rund 60 Meter lange und 30 Meter breite künstliche Insel im East River in Manhattan, New York City im US-Bundesstaat New York. Die Insel entstand in den 1890er Jahren durch Aushubmaterial, das beim Bau der beiden Röhren des Steinway-Tunnels zutage befördert wurde.
