Unwert ist ein Begriff aus dem Strafrecht. Es wird unterschieden nach Erfolgsunwert, Handlungsunwert und Gesinnungsunwert. Der Gesinnungsunwert spielt als Element der Unrechtslehre eine untergeordnete Rolle, nachdem das Gesinnungsstrafrecht als solches als überholt gilt.
