Valentinus

Valentinus (altgriechisch Βαλεντίνος Valentinos, deutsch auch Valentin, selten Valentinian oder Valentius Gnosticus; * wahrscheinlich um 100 n. Chr.; † nach 160 n. Chr.) war ein christlich-gnostischer Lehrer. Er gilt als Begründer der „valentinianischen Gnosis“, die Anhänger seiner Lehre werden Valentinianer genannt.
