Vāta (Sanskrit वात vāta „Wind“; avestisch vāta-, Nomen maskulin) ist der Name für eine indoiranische Gottheit. In der vedischen Mythologie ist Vāta die Personifizierung des Windes. Die avestische Entsprechung ist Wāta oder Vāta je nach Transkription.
