Veit Stoß

Veit Stoß (auch: Stoss, polnisch Wit Stwosz; * um 1447 in Horb am Neckar, Vorderösterreich; † 1533 in Nürnberg) war ein deutscher Bildhauer und -schnitzer der Spätgotik. Er war vor allem in Krakau und Nürnberg tätig.
