Venom (englisch für ‚Gift‘) ist eine englische Metal-Band aus Newcastle. Sie wurde 1979 von Mantas (bürgerlich Jeffrey Dunn, Gitarre) und Abaddon (bürgerlich Anthony Bray, Schlagzeug) gegründet.
