Walther von Wartburg

Walther von Wartburg (-Boos) (* 18. Mai 1888 in Riedholz, Kanton Solothurn; † 15. August 1971 in Basel) war ein Schweizer Romanist und Sprachwissenschaftler. Sein Lebenswerk ist das vielbändige Französische Etymologische Wörterbuch (FEW).
