WebP ist ein Grafikformat für verlustbehaftete oder verlustfreie Bildkompression für statische oder animierte Bilder. Als weiterer Abkömmling des 2010 freigegebenen Video-Codecs VP8 ist es ein Schwesterprojekt des Videoformates WebM.
