Wilhelm Foerster

Wilhelm Julius Foerster (* 16. Dezember 1832 in Grünberg in Schlesien; † 18. Januar 1921 in Bornim) war ein deutscher Astronom, Wissenschaftsorganisator, Wissenschaftspublizist und Pazifist. Er war von 1865 bis 1903 Direktor der Berliner Sternwarte und lehrte von 1858 bis 1920 an der Berliner Universität.
