William Withering

William Withering (* 17. März 1741 in Wellington, Shropshire; † 6. Oktober 1799 in Larches bei Birmingham) war ein englischer Arzt und Botaniker. Er gehörte zu den Mitgliedern der Lunar Society. Sein offizielles botanisches Autorenkürzel lautet „With.“
