World Matchplay 1988
Das World Matchplay 1988 war ein zur Snooker-Saison 1988/89 gehörendes Snookerturnier, das als vom 02. bis zum 10. Dezember 1988 im englischen Brentwood ausgetragen wurde. Der amtierende Weltmeister Steve Davis gewann das Einladungsturnier durch einen 9:5-Sieg über John Parrott. Parrott spielte im Finale das höchste Break des Turnieres. Sponsor des Turnieres war das Doppelverglasungsunternehmen Everest.
