Giornata

Die Giornata, deutsch Tagwerk, ist in der Freskomalerei die in einem Arbeitsgang aufgebrachte Malfläche. Eine große Putzfläche mit horizontalen Putzgrenzen, die auf derselben Ebene wie Gerüstlagen verlaufen, wird als Pontata (ital.) oder Gerüstgrenze bezeichnet.
