Metastrongylus ist eine Gattung von in der Lunge von Schweinen parasitierenden Fadenwürmern mit sieben Arten. In einer europäischen Wildschweinpopulation konnten Parasiten der Gattung bei 77,4 % der Schweine festgestellt werden. Sie sind Auslöser der Metastrongylose.
