Die Nanohalarchaeota (früher Nanohaloarchaeota) sind ein Phylum (Stamm) winziger extrem halophiler (sog. „nanohalophiler“) Archaeen mit einem ebenfalls vergleichsweise kleinen Genom und begrenzten Stoffwechselfähigkeiten.
