Niuafoʻou (deutsch Niuafoou) oder Tin Can Island, alter Name: Proby’s Island (Edward Edwards), ist eine zum Königreich Tonga gehörende Vulkaninsel im südlichen Pazifik, die geographisch zur Niua-Gruppe gezählt wird. Der Archipel wurde am 11. Mai 1616 von Willem Cornelisz Schouten für Europa entdeckt.
