Der VW Scirocco II ist ein auf der Plattform des VW Golf I gebautes Sportcoupé. Er löste am 15. Mai 1981 den Scirocco I ab. Auch der neue Scirocco II (VW-interne Bezeichnung Typ 53B) basierte auf dem Golf I.
