I want move the clock and date bar (where Wi-Fi, sound, battery information is displayed) to the bottom of the screen. Can I do that? This is my actual bar. (My system is on Spanish so my browser is on Spanish too.)

1You could look at the dash-to-panel gnome-shell-extension: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel/ The "gnome-tweaks" app complements it nicely, perhaps install that one as well. – Levente May 16 '21 at 22:47

There are a few options here, all requiring, obviously, to install a Gnome Shell extension.
- To do just what you want, i.e., move the bar to the bottom, install the extension BottomPanel by abstract. The extension Just Perfection by JustPerfection can do much more, but also includes an option to move the panel to the bottom. It is very well maintained and even works on the newest Gnome Shell 40.
- A more invasive change would be to use the extension Dash to Panel by jderose9. This changes the setup to something resembling that of Windows 10. The bar moves to the bottom, and also includes the dock.

Package gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source
E: Package 'gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel' has no installation candidate

Dash to Panel by charlesg99 is the Extension. Works well on GNOME Shell 3.36.9 (Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) – Plamen Jul 16 '23 at 06:01
As someone who's completely new to ubuntu I had trouble with installing Just Perfection. From a little bit of digging I found that to use the "install" button I needed to first install the extension manager app. I found that here.
So for me the process was:
Open the terminal and install extension manager
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-managerGo to Just Perfection
Install Just Perfection extension. It opens in the extension manager, or if it doesn't open just search for it in your apps. There it should be located and you can control it from there :)

"apt-get" is deprecated and got replaced by "apt", isn't it? – Sébastien Bouchard Feb 27 '25 at 13:57
Install the Just Perfection extension
Open the Extension Manager from apps menu
Click on the gear button in front of Just Perfection
Navigate to Customize tab
Change Panel Position ✓

Your said so options are available when Just perfection window opened in maximized option.
Got the desired time date , Battery percentage hidden(removed) after moving from default/Custom option to minimal/Super minimal.
The same is visible when we toggle to left corner of the display!!
Thanks and regards.
