Is there a way to cast my desktop to smart TV wireless?
I want to use my smart TV as a second monitor and I'm looking for a solution without HDMI/VGA or any cords.

So far GNOME.NetworkDisplay is the closest option, but is has a HUGE delay. It's like a minute for a cursor to move, and then again and again. Is there a way to lose the delay?

TV supports chromecast and miracast, Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS, windowing system - wayland

Miss this built-in-feature from win10, where you can just press win+k and it works!

Please add more details to your answer by [edit]ing it, if you want to make it acceptable for the site and actually useful. Now it's only a link to a GitHub repository, with no information about it, no installation instructions, nothing to say how and why it could help the OP. Thanks! – BeastOfCaerbannog Jun 25 '25 at 19:49
  • @BeastOfCaerbannog,I see it also as a comment. But I have no rights to write a comment. miraclecast is a linux derivat of miracast (peer to peer via wifi). – Gloster Jun 26 '25 at 11:17
