I used to be a freelance software developer living and working in Munich, Germany. I wrote serious software since 2004 and worked on projects in Germany, the USA and the UK. I worked with Python, Node.js, jQuery, React, Cordova, C++ and Java. I became something of a CKAN project and open data specialist. I co-founded of Code for Munich, Smartlane and Hawa Dawa.

In 2022 I left my software life more or less behind and these days I work behind the scenes on DB Fernverkehr (DB Long Distance) ticketing in Frankfurt. I still use Python from time to time.
