Einleitung

This guide is for the Sony Extra Bass headphones, and if you are experiencing any problems when trying to talk into the microphone this guide is for you. Wires underneath the plastic casing that connect the microphone could be damaged or disrupted, replacement is necessary at this point for continued use. Be sure to trouble shoot other problems before opening the microphone.

    • Lay the headphones face up.

    • Make sure that the headphones are unplugged from any devices.

    • Using the metal spudger as a prying tool, gently remove the plastic casing around the microphone.

    • Remove this piece to expose the inner workings of the microphone.

    • With the microphone exposed you can remove the broken microphone from the wires and solder on the new piece.

Plastic casing not coming off. Any other way to take it off? My left side ain’t working and all possible wiring seems cool except the inside the microphone casing which I could not open. Please help.
