Einleitung

The turntable is operated by a motor that spins a belt and the table. The belt may stretch or become misaligned over time, and may need replacement or adjustment. Note that it is first important to complete the Disassembly Guide.

    • Separate the turntable from the top of the record player by lifting straight up.

    • Check the belt to see if it is off the motor or turntable. If the belt is damaged (tearing or lack of smoothness) replace the belt with a new one. If it is off track, realign accordingly.

    • Do not stretch the belt too far as it may break.

    • Once the belt is ready to go, re-wrap the belt around the turntable wheel and, keeping it around the wheel, wrap it around the motor (indicated by the red circle).

    • It may be helpful to lay the record player on its side to keep the belt wrapped around both the motor and the turntable wheel.

    • Once the belt has been re-applied and the turntable re-attached, stand the record player back up.
