The Digital2 sub-company of android has been working on developing these tablets since 2005. And the Digital2 Platinum Pad 9 was released on March 26th, 2013. These tablets are designed for the user experience above all else and to be a great tablet for an affordable price. The tablet can be identified by the Digital2 in white letters on the back of the tablet.
The Digital2 Platinum Pad 9 uses the typical Android operating software which is KitKat 4.4. The tablet is 9 inches across. The Digital2 Platinum Pad 9 also has built in Wi-Fi. The tablet was designed to have the digital hardware be the same as the software which is why the company wanted to be called Digital2.
