The Dyson Supersonic HD01(model number‎J-1001) is the oldest Dyson hair dryer model released in 2016. This hair dryer has heat control settings to prevent damage to the hair, is designed for all hair types, and has fast-drying technology. It is designed to dry hair without heat damage. This model comes with three attachments: a diffuser, styling concentrator, and a smoothing nozzle. If you are looking for more attachments, Dyson sells a flyaway attachment, wide tooth comb, and gentle air attachment separately.

The hair dryers advanced heat control ensures healthier hair which makes the hair follicles appear shiny and helps the hair reflect more light in a single direction. This feature also helps with colored hair; high heat can change the protein of hair which makes natural or dyed color fade. Also extreme temperature can affect the scalps overall health. The gentle air attachment reduces temperature up to 20° and diffuses the air to protect sensitive scalps.

The Dyson Supersonic HD01 is a lightweight hair dyer that comes in pink, red, blue, purple, black, and silver. It is the only Dyson Supersonic that has this many color options. You can find the on/off button and cold shot button on the front of the hair dyer. The filter cage and filter cleaning brush is located at the bottom of the hair dryer.
