Background and Identification

Cultivated in China nearly 5000 years ago, Oranges are a fruit of the citrus species in the Rutaceae family. They grow on trees, and can be enjoyed in many different forms. Some may prefer their Oranges plain, while others may elect to squeeze them, then drink their juice. Some, more daring, individuals serve the Orange in salads, or as a tasty way to wash down a shot of wheat grass at Jamba Juice.
