Background and Identification
The Pentax Optio WG-2 is an all-terrain, rugged, point and shoot camera. It’s a 13th-generation camera that is waterproof down to 40 feet (12 meters), shockproof, and freeze proof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit(-10 degrees Celsius). With the device weighing in at 7 ounces and having the dimensions of 4.8x2.4x1.2 inches (smaller than an average phone) it can be stored almost anywhere. The camera has great photo quality, and includes features such as face detection, pet detection, and smile detection. It has a resolution size of 4,608 x 3,456 pixels. Most computers have a resolution of about 1600 x 900 making this camera have almost near perfect photo quality.
