Background and Identification
VENTImotion WM 24800 and VENTIlogic WM 27000 Ventilators are manufactured by Weinmann Medical Technology and were released in 2007. These devices serve as home ventilators for non-life support adult patients with respiratory insufficiency.
This device is meant for restrictive and obstructive ventilation disorders, disorders of respiratory mechanism, central respiratory regulation disorders, neurological, muscular and neuromuscular disorders.
Weinmann technology clearly states that the user is responsible for repairs carried out themselves and their warranty. It is advised that only Weinmann original spare parts are to be used during repair.
If the device is to be used by a new patient, the user is to follow a series of steps to be cleaned and disinfected. Instructions and more information about the sterilization process can be found in the original manual.
