Background and Identification

Announced on August 21, 2019, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is an Android smartphone part of Xiaomi’s flagship Mi line, praised for its premium design, long battery life, and its flagship specifications. The 9T Pro also has a 6.39” full-screen FHD+ Horizon AMOLED display and a durable glass/metal construction. However, the phone lacks waterproofing, and has a mono speaker.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 6GB of RAM, the 9T Pro offers 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. The other option includes 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable internal storage.

The Xiaomi MI 9T Pro is also marketed under Redmi, a Xiaomi sub-brand, as the Redmi K20 Pro in China. Both namesakes are available in four colors including Glacier Blue, Flame Red, Carbon Black, and Pearl White.

Premium variants of the 9T Pro were later released including an upgrade to the Snapdragon 855+, a new 512 GB/12 GB RAM model, a refined cooling system, and an exclusive finish.
