Eventually, these companies merged in 1983 to form Lucky-GoldStar Corporation, which is known as LG Corporation. This brand sells consumer electronics, chemicals, and telecommunication products. LG phones are made as part of the subsidiary LG Electronics.
LG phones usually use either Windows or Android operating system (OS). The phones in this list all use the Android OS. The operating system of a phone determines several of its features: the hardware of the phone, its software resources (including what apps are preinstalled on the phone), and who provides services for the phone. The Android OS was developed by Google. This means that phones with the Android operating system usually come with preinstalled apps including Google Maps, Gmail, Google Chrome, and more.
