Alan Sillitoe

Alan Sillitoe (* 4. März 1928 in Nottingham; † 25. April 2010 in London) war ein britischer Schriftsteller, der vor allem durch seine Erzählung „Die Einsamkeit des Langstreckenläufers“ (The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, 1959) bekannt wurde.
